Environmentalists wimps

I remember when the environmentalists were protesting that they didn't want any nuclear power plants built in the US, now it seems that they've changed their mind. I heard a self-proclaimed environmentalist leader recently say that he was wrong about the power plants because it's actually a very clean energy resource. Well thanks for that! We could have more of our power being generated without using coal or oil, but that's ok. Maybe we could have partially avoided some of the transfer of wealth that we've so graciously given to our enemies - you know the guys that call us the infidels, second only to the Jews on their list of People Who Need Killin'.
Now I hear the wackoes who used to scream at me for using paper (a natural, renewable resource) bags at the grocery store are now off the plastic bandwagon and are now screamin' at me to use paper again. And these are the guys who are screaming about global warming. Yeah, right.
Meanwhile our intelligent leaders are giving money to farmers to grow plants to make ethanol. This is what they've come up with? First of all their driving up the price of food, because more farmers are going to stop growing their regular crops (which will drive up the cost of those crops, remember supply and demand?) and start growing corn. And ethanol isn't even that much cheaper than what we're using now! This is what our government chooses to do. Meanwhile in India, cars that run on compressed air will be selling on the street in August of this year. http://www.popularmechanics.com/automotive/new_cars/4217016.html Yes, I said INDIA! Where's the outcry from the environmentalists in the US when you need it. Air compressed running cars will be selling soon in France and Australia too. All it takes to impress an environmentalist in this country, is pulling up in a very expensive Prius, while our friends in the third world country of India will soon be tooling around on air at $1/per 100 kilometers. All this while we're over here sucking carbon monoxide fumes, paying higher prices for food, and paying our enemies ridiculous amounts of money for oil. Come on environmentalists, have you grown soft? March on Detroit or something. I'm tired of paying $60/week for fuel!

McCain

Well, the media did it! They got their two politicians into the election. McCain the Moderate and Obama the Liberal. Oh I know it's still close between Hillary and Obama, but he's got momentum and she's sinking fast. It's just a matter of time until it will be the two media darlings, and then out comes all the crap from McCain's past. It looks like the New York Times just couldn't wait until the two candidates were set before unloading on McCain. But believe me, they wouldn't have pulled the trigger on the latest, 'alleged' McCain scandal so early in the campaign unless they had plenty more crap to pull out of their butts between now and November. Truth, allegation, it doesn't matter, they'll start making it up if they need to. But, with such a long political record like McCain has, they wont need to. He's been in politics longer than most of us who will be voting have been alive. And because he's a "moderate" he's done plenty of things over the years to piss-off both sides. As we speak, conservatives are trying to find a reason to vote for him in the fall and liberals are grabbing their shovels to begin digging up as much dirt on McCain as they can. Frankly, I don't think they'll need it. Bush has done such a great job of alienating the conservatives with his amnesty push that even they're screaming for 'change' and who do you think the media will present as the politician of 'change', a 71 year old man who's been a politicain since Moses led the Jews out of Egypt or the nice, speech-makin', young, half-black man who's screaming about 'change' in every speech.
If I were Obama, I'd be chompin' at the bit to face McCain. He's going to be laughing all the way to the White House.
Socialism, here we come!
